Cooper Grace Ward private clients partner, Scott Hay-Bartlem, has been reappointed as Chair of the SMSF Association for another two-year term.
Scott was appointed as a director of the Association in mid-2019, having practised SMSF law for nearly three decades. Scott was then appointed as Chair of the Association in February 2022.
In being reappointed to the Chair, Scott continues to bring his extensive knowledge and experience to the role, with a strong focus on estate planning, disputes, administration, superannuation and tax.
Scott said he is ‘honoured to be asked to remain in the role, especially during this period of ongoing changes, challenges and new opportunities for the SMSF sector’.
The SMSF Association is the independent, professional body that represents Australia’s self-managed super fund sector . The Association continually aims to improve the quality of advisers, knowledge of trustees and health of the self-managed super fund sector nationwide.
