CGW’s corporate advisory team recognised in Doyle’s Guide

Cooper Grace Ward’s corporate advisory team, along with managing partner Charles Sweeney, partner Andrew Corkhill and special counsel Adelaide Hayes, have been named in the 2023 Doyle’s Guide list of leading corporate lawyers and law firms.

This year, both Charles and Andrew have been recognised in the list of Leading Business & Commercial Lawyers, and Charles is also named in the list of Leading Corporate Lawyers. Charles has been listed continuously since 2010 in the Doyle’s Guide annual rankings. Andrew has been ranked among the Commercial Law category for the fourth year running. Adelaide has been listed in the 2023 Queensland Corporate & Commercial Law Rising Stars. This is the first time Adelaide has been listed in the guide, adding to her already impressive market recognition.

Charles Sweeney provides wide-ranging commercial advice to clients, with a particular focus on corporate advisory and transactions.

Andrew Corkhill advises extensively on corporate transactions, including large-scale mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate financings. He also regularly acts for participants in Australia’s clean energy transition, including those involved in renewable energy generation, alternative fuels, hydrogen and waste-to-energy projects and transactions..

Adelaide Hayes has a breadth of experience in transactional and corporate advisory work, such as complex mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance advice, shareholder issues and agreements, and business sale and share sale transactions.
