Senior Associate
As a senior associate in Cooper Grace Ward’s corporate advisory team, Tom provides support on a range of corporate and commercial issues.

His expertise extends to mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property and technology, privacy, commercial contracting, corporate governance, competition and consumer law, and compliance.

Tom has assisted a broad range of clients, from individuals to listed entities, through his experience gained at Cooper Grace Ward and through his prior work in a multinational top tier law firm.

  • Assisting with both buy-side and sell-side M&A matters including through preparing and negotiating complex transactional agreements, conducting due diligence and assisting with completion.
  • Advising on a broad range of intellectual property and technology matters, including preparing complex intellectual property advices and agreements, licences to use and develop intellectual property, SAAS agreements and confidentiality agreements.
  • Advising on privacy law compliance and cyber security, including in respect of the mandatory data breach notification scheme.
  • Advising on corporate governance, structuring and business planning matters.
  • Advising listed entities on various compliance matters including under the ASX listing rules.
  • Preparing and advising on a broad range of commercial agreements including terms of trade, supply agreements and service agreements.
  • Providing advice on competition and consumer law issues.
