Sophia advises on matters including the Foreign Investment Review Board regime, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, structuring and corporate financing.

As a senior associate in Cooper Grace Ward’s corporate advisory team, Sophia provides legal support to domestic and international clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial issues.

Sophia advises on matters including the Foreign Investment Review Board regime, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, structuring and corporate financing.

She undertakes a wide range of advisory work for both individuals and corporate clients. Sophia has also worked with a range of not-for-profit organisations, providing legal support and advice with respect to governance and compliance.

  • Preparing and negotiating complex commercial agreements, including stakeholder arrangements, acquisitions and disposals.

  • Advising on a wide range of commercial agreements such as supply and services agreements, terms and conditions.

Not for profit

  • Sophia has practical experience working for and within not-for-profit and non‑government organisations and research bodies, including:
  • fulfilling board positions on a number of human rights-focussed international bodies at the University of Queensland
  • The Asia Pacific Centre for the Responsibility to Protect
  • The Coalition for the Protection of Greyhounds
