Property team at Cooper Grace Ward appointed to UDIA Queensland policy committees

Three senior members of Cooper Grace Ward’s property, planning and environment team have been appointed to the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) policy committees in Queensland for the 2025-2027 term.

UDIA is a peak body for all urban development-related issues and supports the development industry in creating world class communities.

Meg Johnson, a special counsel at Cooper Grace Ward, has been reappointed to the UDIA Queensland Infrastructure Committee, having been a member of this committee since 2019.

Special counsel Michael Donnelly and Cameron Lack are new appointments to the UDIA committees – Michael becoming a member of the Property Law Committee and Cameron of the Industrial Development Committee.

Meg Johnson has extensive experience servicing the needs of institutional and property trust clients, private companies and individuals, government, and distributor‑retailers across a diverse range of projects and properties. With a passion for seeing projects grow from an idea to successful completion, Meg provides advice and representation on project planning, contract drafting and negotiations for small- and medium-scale projects through to multimillion‑dollar construction and infrastructure projects.

Michael Donnelly specialises in large-scale acquisitions and disposals, property development, technical property advice work and commercial leasing. He works directly with major property owners and developers, providing pragmatic and clear advice to assist them with the day-to-day management and operation of their portfolios.

Cameron Lack provides specialist legal advice on property development, major projects, and property acquisitions and disposals. He advises a wide range of clients including private companies, family businesses and institutional property owners. He offers legal guidance and strategies designed to help clients maximise the long term value of their property assets.
