Cooper Grace Ward is delighted to be recognised as a leading firm for litigation and dispute resolution in the 2026 edition of The Legal 500 Asia Pacific.

Legal 500 independently assesses the strengths of law firms in over 150 jurisdictions globally, with a focus on practice teams providing cutting-edge and innovative advice to corporate counsel.

Recognised for specialising in complex, high-value commercial disputes across various sectors for national and multinational clients, in 2026 Cooper Grace Ward was particularly acknowledged for its strength in operating as a highly skilled and cohesive team under the leadership of partner Rocco Russo.

The Legal 500 Asia Pacific’s 2026 research includes testimonials praising the team as ‘very well organised and operating as a unit’ with seamless collaboration. One source commented, ‘every time we spoke to any of them, they all understood the case very well’. There is also strong endorsement of the high-quality work produced by the team, described as ‘genuinely competitive against the larger national firms’, with the team having skills and experience comparable to top-tier competitors.

Lead partner Rocco Russo was again recognised for his technical expertise and strategic clarity, with one source describing him as ‘a very effective operator with excellent business acumen and a strategic approach to managing and structuring matters to achieve positive client outcomes’. Partner Miranda Klibbe was also acknowledged as ‘active in large-scale commercial and property litigation, and highly regarded by clients’.

In 2026, Cooper Grace Ward’s litigation team was one of only four firms on this list to receive additional recognition based on the firm’s Net Promoter Score (NPS®), a client experience metric. This additional accolade was awarded to only 30% of firms nationally, with performance evaluated over a four-year period.

The Legal 500 Asia Pacific’s recognition adds to numerous other accolades, including listings in Chambers Global, Chambers Asia-Pacific, Best Lawyers, Doyles Guide and Lexology (formerly Who’s Who Legal).

Congratulations to our litigation and dispute resolution team for their ongoing recognition as one of the leading teams in the market. We thank our clients for their continued trust and support.
