Cooper Grace Ward’s Carly Ashwood has provided pro bono advice to charities in need at the Project Management Institute’s Day of Service 2021.
Held yesterday at the W Hotel, the Project Management Day of Service is a one-day community service event where project managers, lawyers, accountants and other professional advisers provide free skills to not-for-profit organisations who require assistance in assessing and planning projects for their organisations to succeed.
Cooper Grace Ward was one of the sponsors of the event and special counsel Carly Ashwood attended as the firm’s representative providing expert commercial and corporate knowledge to not-for-profits and charitable organisations.
Commenting on the day, Ashwood said: “I have always seen value in providing pro-bono support to Queensland charities, so to be invited to help with the Day of Service 2021 was both memorable and rewarding for me.”
“Not-for-profits are often challenged with time and resources, and a dedicated day like this is a great way for them to access ideas and general guidance that will help their organisations, which in turn helps our communities,” she said.
