Melissa Mourilyan (Banking and Finance) has been promoted to special counsel, while Cass Palmer-Field (Property, Planning and Environment), Hannah Flanderka (Family Law) and Ryan Thomson (Litigation and Dispute Resolution) have been promoted to associate.
As special counsel, Melissa liaises with clients and other stakeholders across a wide variety of financial institutions Australia-wide, and is relied on by clients to handle some of their most complex security transactions. Her experience includes setting up systems and processes for the use of electronic conveyancing through the PEXA network.
Cass assists clients on acquisitions and disposals of commercial, rural and agricultural, industrial and residential properties and is also involved in property development, leasing, technical property advice work and equine agreements.
Hannah helps guide families through complex property settlement matters involving trusts and corporate entities. She regularly prepares binding financial agreements and other documents to formalise property settlements.
Ryan provides advice to clients on a broad range of matters involving commercial litigation, alternative dispute resolution and insolvency processes.
