Belinda Winter and CGW recognised in 2022 Queensland Mental Health Week Achievement Awards

Cooper Grace Ward and partner Belinda Winter have been listed as finalists in the 2022 Queensland Mental Health Week Achievement Awards.

As Queensland’s only state-wide mental health award program, the awards recognise and celebrate the individuals, groups and organisations that work diligently to reduce stigma and empower those living with mental illness.

This is the second year running the firm and Belinda have been recognised in these awards, reflecting the team’s dedication in spreading awareness of mental health and wellbeing in the legal industry.

Managing partner Charles Sweeney is extremely proud that the firm is, once again, in the running for these awards.

‘Cooper Grace Ward’s commitment to mental health, wellness and diversity is an integral part of our core values and culture,’ he said.

‘To support this, we have implemented policies and programs across the firm including the provision of mental health first aid, the ongoing development of our Wellness and Diversity Committees, and the establishment of an LGBTIQ+ support group that is accessible to team members, clients and peers.’

‘Belinda Winter also continues to be a huge advocate for the improvement of mental health and wellbeing across the legal profession and the wider business community, including through the many mental health training programs and workshops she delivers for our clients.’
