Cooper Grace Ward has further expanded its market leading disputes practice with two impressive commercial litigators from top tier firms.
Brock Morgan has joined CGW from Allens. With more than 15 years’ experience across a variety of industries, Brock has acted in a diverse range of commercial disputes but has a particular interest in large-scale, complex commercial litigation and insolvency matters. He has also undertaken secondments with several government owned corporations, providing additional insight into clients’ commercial operations and their expectations of external legal providers.
Andrew Vella joins CGW from MinterEllison. Andrew has acted for corporate and government clients for over 15 years, with experience spanning complex commercial disputes, corporations law, property disputes, banking and securities law, commissions and inquiries, regulatory investigations and actions, and insolvency.
CGW disputes practice head, Rocco Russo, welcomed Brock and Andrew to the highly respected practice, stating: “We are so pleased to have Brock and Andrew join us. Both are experienced, first-class litigators in the market with outstanding expertise and experience.”
“Having them as part of our talented team further expands the depth and breadth of capability we offer to clients. It will allow the continuation of the extraordinary growth of our commercial litigation practice generally, but particularly in the corporate, insolvency and regulatory areas.”
These recent appointments follow significant expansion of the team over the past three years, achieved through a mix of elevating homegrown talent and the recruitment of culturally aligned, talented individuals from other high calibre firms.
