Lara is a senior associate in Cooper Grace Ward’s commercial team.

She has more than 10 years’ experience in both commercial and property law, and specialises in franchising, leasing, property development, and property and business sales and acquisitions. Her depth of experience in both commercial and property law enables her to advise from a broader perspective, resulting in a more commercial outcome for clients.

Lara is an active member of the Franchise Council of Australia and Family Business Australia, which provides her with deeper insight into the issues and areas of concern and importance to clients in the business and property industries.

Lara is also a member and the chair of Cooper Grace Ward’s franchising industry group. This group is made up of legal professionals from the firm’s commercial, property, and litigation and dispute resolution workgroups.

Lara has a commercial, practical and solution-based approach to all legal matters and adopts an "easy to read" style when drafting documents and advising clients.
