As an associate in Cooper Grace Ward’s private client team, Katelyn brings years of experience in the estate planning and estate administration field and has supported many clients and their families through the process.

Her expertise extends from simple to complex estate planning and family structuring matters, superannuation and trust advice in both the planning and administration stages, and assisting with the administration of deceased estates both in and out of Queensland.

Katelyn has assisted a broad range of clients at various stages of their estate planning and estate administration experiences.

  • Solicitor – Supreme Court of Queensland
  • Bachelor of Laws – Queensland University of Technology
  • Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice – College of Law
  • Estate planning, Wills (including testamentary trust Wills and international Wills), enduring powers of attorney and superannuation binding death benefit nominations.
  • Providing advice in relation to trust succession planning.
  • Applications for probate and letters of administration, both in Queensland and interstate.
  • Providing advice to executors and beneficiaries of estates.
  • Providing hands-on and practical assistance in the administration of estates with interstate or overseas executors.
  • Advising attorneys of their rights and obligations when acting for a principal (including the administration of an international trust).
