Cooper Grace Ward welcomes three new team members

Cooper Grace Ward has welcomed new faces to the firm’s property, workplace relations and commercial teams.

Teresa Kearney joins the firm as a special counsel specialising in property development, with particular expertise and experience in community title, strata and body corporate law.

With more than 28 years’ experience, her knowledge extends from cottage conveyancing through to master planned community developments and multimillion dollar commercial and agribusiness transactions. Teresa understands complex structuring issues from a commercial perspective and incorporates revenue and tax advice into her practice.

Teresa also brings a great depth of understanding of international law, having chaired the Queensland Law Society International Law and International Relations Committee for four years to 2015 and being a working party member concerning fundamental freedoms with the Law Council of Australia.

Associate Chris Graham joins the workplace relations and safety team, providing advice and representation to employer clients, including private companies, Queensland Government departments, local governments and government owned corporations.

Chris brings experience representing clients in unfair dismissal and general protections claims in the Fair Work Commission, as well as responding to applications for reinstatement in the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission. Before commencing his career in law, Chris gained more than eight years’ experience in various state government human resources roles.

The firm also welcomes lawyer George Dingle to the commercial workgroup. George joins the firm following six years at McInnes Wilson Lawyers and provides corporate and commercial transactional support and advice across a broad range of industries.
