Selina Nutley is an associate in our property, planning and environment team.
Selina has extensive experience in the area of town planning and environmental law, with a particular focus on litigation, including:
- Representation of appellants and respondents in the Planning and Environment Court, including in appeals relating to development approvals, applications for minor change, change of condition and enforcement orders
- Provision of advice in relation to lapsed approvals, land use of sites, and ministerial call ins
- Representation of clients at mediations.
Selina coordinated (on behalf of an appellant developer) a project to effect a resolution to a Planning and Environment Court, whereby the parties agreed to appoint an independent multi disciplinary team to determine appropriate land use of the subject site. This project later won the Planning Institute of Australia (Queensland) Planning Practice and Administration 2010 award for planning excellence.
Selina also has extensive experience in commercial litigation and general property disputes.
Selina regularly appears as an advocate in Federal and State Courts at all levels.
