
Litigation & Dispute Resolution
Reg specialises in the area of building and construction law. He has had wide experience in this area over the past 20 years. He has acted for a range of clients including principals, suppliers, subcontractors and statutory authorities.
His work has extended over most legal facets of the building and construction industry including:
- contract preparation (building contracts, design and construct contracts, subcontracts, supply contracts, joint venture agreements)
- advice in regard to contract administration (including the problem areas of variations, delay, latent conditions, superintendents directions and time limitations)
- dispute resolution (negotiation, mediation, arbitration and litigation in the Supreme, District and Magistrates Courts and the Queensland Building Tribunal)
- the application of statutes relevant to clients’ operations.
Reg also has a general commercial practice dealing in companies, partnerships, disputes, debt collection, bankruptcy and winding up. He has experience in such property and commercial oriented areas as conveyancing and leasing.
