Leah is an associate in the firm’s insurance team and works predominantly as a panel lawyer for the firm’s major insurance clients.
She enjoys a varied practice including:
- Defendant personal injuries actions involving public liability claims – residential and commercial premises
- Motor vehicle claims including advising on inevitable accident, nervous shock, non-disclosure due to fraud and complex jurisdictional issues
- General insurance advice including indemnity
- Subrogated recovery actions for property damage and other areas such as bailment
- Drafting insurance submissions to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
Leah is a seasoned trial lawyer with recent convincing wins in the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.
Prior to commencing with Cooper Grace Ward, Leah trained in a boutique personal injuries firm.
Leah brings maturity to her role having experienced life as a primary school teacher prior to returning to the study of law.
Leah is committed to achieving results for her clients and is appreciated for her dedication and work ethic.
