Kim has been a lawyer involved in the property industry for more than 20 years.
Kim’s areas of expertise include:
- Sales, purchases and development of commercial property, including Brisbane CBD buildings, shopping centres, service stations and hotels
- Community title scheme developments (both commercial and residential)
- Sales and purchases of businesses
- Leasing of commercial property (including CBD buildings), retail shops, industrial properties, vacant land and lots in community title schemes
- Conveyancing of residential property including vacant land, rural and crown leasehold properties.
He has in the past acted for:
- A major oil company, major fast food chain and a leading hardware chain, advising on the acquisition, sales and leasing (both as tenant and landlord) of property, subdivisional and development applications, and various other property related issues
- Numerous leasing clients, both landlord and tenant, including various Queensland and Commonwealth Government owned corporations and a major telecommunications company.
He has also:
- Been involved in and led groups handling the purchase and sale of major retail shopping centres in Queensland
- Acted for a major oil company in the restructuring of its entire distributor network throughout Queensland
- Acted for a major telecommunications company in the sale and leaseback of the majority of its mobile telecommunication facilities in Queensland (in excess of 150).
