Gemma is a member of the firm’s employment and workplace relations team.
 
In her role as Lawyer with the firm she has been involved in providing advice about:

• General employment obligations to clients from a number of industries in all jurisdictions of Australia;
• Drafting of employment agreements and Workplace Agreements
• Award disputes;
• Interpretation and application of the Federal Workplace Relations Act for transitioning businesses;
• Claims made by and against former employees particularly with respect to unfair and unlawful dismissal;
• Sexual harassment claims;
• Breaches of occupational health and safety legislation.
• Unpaid wage claims
• Commercial and employment immigration matters.

Gemma has also provided advice on a range of commercial matters including the incorporation of Charitable organisations. 
 

Prior to joining the firm Gemma gained industry experience working in the hospitality, marketing and military sectors.
