Fletch Heinemann is a Senior Associate in the firm’s Commercial Team. He assists clients by providing tax advice across a range of commercial issues. Fletch is responsible for the carriage of tax and customs disputes with the Australian Taxation Office and Customs and Border Protection Service. His experience includes drafting notices of objection, private ruling applications, AAT appeals and litigation in the Federal Court.
His technical specialisations include GST, customs duties, transfer pricing and international tax and residency issues. Fletch has presented sessions at the Tax Institute’s Queensland seminars and national conferences and has published papers on topical GST, customs and transfer pricing issues.
Before joining Cooper Grace Ward, Fletch was a tax lawyer in Baker & McKenzie’s Sydney office. Prior to that, Fletch worked for a Big 4 accounting firm in the UK and then China.
