Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Intellectual Property
Edward joined Cooper Grace Ward in 2008, following experience practising as a barrister in the ACT and NSW.
Prior to his practice as a barrister, Edward had extensive experience working in the Information Technology and Communications arena, having founded and managed one of Australia’s first internet domain name registrars. This involved dealings with a large and geographically diverse client base as well as internet service providers.
He applies his business experience to achieving commercially focused outcomes for clients, having regard to the realities of operating small and medium enterprises. The experience also enables him to readily understand the challenges faced by clients involved in telecommunications, software engineering, e-commerce and intellectual property.
During his experience as a barrister and at Cooper Grace Ward, Edward has acted for clients in major litigation and successfully resolved substantial claims for both claimants and defendants.
