Brady is a senior member of the Cooper Grace Ward Insurance team and a Queensland Law Society accredited specialist in personal injuries law.
He has more than 14 years’ experience in personal injuries litigation involving all areas of claims including workers’ compensation, motor vehicle accidents, defective products, medical negligence, public liability and criminal compensation.
Brady joined Cooper Grace Ward in May 2008, having been a partner in the injury litigation division at another Brisbane City legal firm between 2002 and 2008.
Brady undertakes work for a number of Queensland based insurers. Over the last several years, he has had an increasing focus of workers’ compensation claims and is a WorkCover Queensland panel lawyer. He also undertakes CTP claims work.
In the past, Brady has assisted in the defence of public liability matters on behalf of a Queensland commercial insurer, a major supermarket retailer and a number of uninsured private clients. He has also assisted a number of American law firms in prosecuting claims both in the United States of America and in Papua New Guinea.
Prior to working in civil litigation, Brady worked in the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Brady completed a Bachelor of Laws degree in 1995 at Queensland University of Technology and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice in 1996. He was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 1996 and a solicitor of the High Court of Australia in 1997.
