Our workers’ compensation division is headed by Tony Park and provides litigation and general advisory services to clients, under both the State based workers’ compensation scheme and the Federal Comcare Scheme.
Tony has more than 20 years experience in workers’ compensation claims and was appointed as a WorkCover Queensland Panel Lawyer in 2001. He is the preferred workers’ compensation legal services provider for a number of large government and private organisations in a variety of industries, including Queensland Health (Princess Alexandra Hospital and Gold Coast Hospital), Spotless Services, Neumann Steel and Dairy Farmers. Tony has also acted for a number of self-insured employers including Golden Circle, Woolworths, Mayne Group and the Commonwealth Bank.
Tony has special interest in claims involving the Health industry, labour hire claims, pure psychological injury claims and dust disease claims (including asbestos claims).
Tony is supported by Brady Cockburn who has almost 12 years experience in workers’ compensation matters and Janelle Tryon who formerly worked as a legal advisor to WorkCover Queensland.
Our team's experience also includes advising Australia Post on Federal Workers’ Compensation matters under the Comcare Scheme.
